Let's talk about love for a second. Okay, okay, we know it's not Valentine's Day, but it is the reimagined 30th anniversary of the Calgary Pride Festival in a couple of weeks, and that has us feeling ALL the love.
At its core, Pride is a universal celebration of love and resilience, and this year will be no different. We are proud to be an official partner of Calgary Pride 2020, as well as to have the opportunity to work with so many incredible organizations, retailers, and individuals that work to make our community a more safe and inclusive space not only during Pride, but each and every single day. Even though it won’t look the same this time around, we know that the spirit and love surrounding Pride is stronger than ever, and we can’t wait to be a part of that energy. Spread the love!

For the second year, we are so excited to announce that we have partnered with the one and only Ryan Massel - A.K.A. Mr. Fabulous - to share the love with all of our #WTKfans out there this Pride season as part of the 2020 LOVED. collection.
The LOVED. Collection was created by Ryan as a labour of love (literally) following a perspective-altering experience at the 2018 Pride Festival in Nashville, TN. Upon returning to Calgary, Mr. Fabulous was determined to spread a simple but powerful message:
"You are valid and loved."
Using his platform and rapport with local brands in Alberta, Ryan developed a curated collection of local goods that were inspired by his mission, and the LOVED Collection was born to help support LGBTQ+ organizations who spread love and support 365 days a year.
This year for the LOVED. collection, we got together with Mr. Fab for a physically distanced tie-dye party, and naturally the results were, well, fabulous. Inspired by the colours of the pride flag, each hand-dyed, WTK branded cotton tote bag will be filled with a 6 pack of your choice of kombucha (which, in case you missed it, is brewed with love right here in YYC), including the limited-edition Ruby Slipper flavour.
Just like us, no two bags are exactly the same - and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Pre-sale for the LOVED. + WTK Pride Pack and Ruby Slipper will go live on the WTK & Friends Online Store on August 15, and 100% of the profits will be donated to the Skipping Stone Foundation.
