3 Festive Holiday Hard Kombucha Cocktail Recipes

 

‘Tis the season to drink and be merry! We’ve been having a blast here at Wild Tea headquarters coming up with three delicious cocktail recipes using each of our hard kombucha cider flavours: Mango Passionfruit, Blueberry Hibiscus and Ginger Lime! In case you want to try all three, you can have a mixed case of all three flavours delivered right to your door* (*If you live in AB, BC, SK, MB or NS)!

Since our hard ciders are low in sugar, low in carbs and contain healthy probiotics - these drink recipes are perhaps a wiser choice (if you choose to imbibe) that you can feel good about this festive season! blueberry hibiscus thyme kombucha smash

ingredients

serves a happy holiday crowd of 6-8!

32 oz. Wild Tea Blueberry Hibiscus Hard Kombucha Cider (4 cans)

6 oz. gin

4 oz. lemon juice

4 oz. pomegranate juice

1.5 cups of fresh blueberries (reserve half a cup for garnish)

3 tbs sugar or desired sweetener of choice

1 lemon cut into wheels

Sprigs of thyme for garnish

Ice

directions

1. Add 1 cup of blueberries, lemon juice and sugar to bottom of pitcher. Smash and muddle fruit while stirring with a wooden spoon until combined. Rest for 10 minutes.

2. Add ice, gin, and pomegranate juice to pitcher. Arrange several lemon wheels and sprinkle several sprigs worth of thyme into pitcher.

3. Top up remainder of pitcher with hard cider and stir well.

4. Serve in glasses garnished with a lemon wheel and sprig of thyme. Enjoy!

Mango Passionfruit Mezcal Kombucha Cocktail

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

4 oz. Mezcal

2 oz. Simple Syrup or Agave Syrup

8 oz. Wild Tea Kombucha Mango Passionfruit Hard Cider (~1 can)

1/2 fresh mango, sliced for garnish

2 oz. fresh lime juice

2 lime wheels for garnish

Ice

DIRECTIONS

1. Fill two glasses with desired amount of ice.

2. Add mezcal, syrup and lime juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

2. Add cider to shaker and gently swirl to mix without agitating the fizzy kombucha.

3. Strain mixture into glass, add mango and lime garnish to the glasses, and serve. Enjoy!

Festive holiday white kombucha sangria cocktail

serves 2

ingredients

2 oz. Vodka

8 oz. White cranberry juice

8-12 oz. Wild Tea Kombucha Ginger Lime Hard Cider

1 bottle of dry sparkling wine

fresh rosemary for garnish

fresh cranberries for garnish

2 tbs lime juice (for rim)

2 tbs sugar (for rim)

directions

1. Rim two glasses with lime juice and sugar. Fill with ice.

2. Add 1 oz. vodka to each glass.

3. Add fresh cranberries as desired. Pour 4 oz. of White cranberry juice into each glass.

3. Add 4-6 oz. of kombucha cider to each glass.

3. Top up glasses with sparkling wine. Stir gently to combine.

3. Garnish each glass with fresh rosemary. Enjoy!
