Low Sugar + Keto Friendly Ice Cream Floats

These ice cream floats are made with our Low Sugar Kombucha Sodas which contain only 4g of sugar and 20 calories PER CAN! When we created this line of kombucha sodas, we had something in mind that still had the bold flavour and probiotic benefits of kombucha, except at a lower sugar content. For those of us that are already sweet enough! ❤️

As kombucha ferments, more and more of the sugar from the sweet, organic tea is consumed by the SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast). We’ve taken that tart kombucha base after a nice, long fermentation and sweetened it with a touch of organic stevia. Stevia is an all natural, zero calorie sweetener (we see you keto community)! All natural flavour gives these their authentic pop taste that are reminiscent to what you had as a kid on a hot summer day. Cue the sprinkler on the lawn, mom!

You can use any flavour you’d like to create your float: Orange Pop, Root Beer, Cream Soda, or Cola. You can make these Vegan by using a dairy-free ice cream.

Low Sugar + Keto Friendly Ice Cream Floats

Makes 1 float

Ingredients

  • 2-3 scoops Halo Top or other low calorie ice cream

  • 1 can of Kombucha Soda (your choice of flavour)

Scoop 2-3 scoops of ice cream into a tall glass or mug. Top the ice cream with the soda, pour slowly so it doesn’t foam! If you have time, chill the mug in the freezer for an extra frosty treat. Serve with a compostable straw + spoon.
