This is the type of cocktail that’ll warm you from the inside out! Eau Claire Distillery is located in beautiful Turner Valley, AB amoungst the rolling hills and expansive farms and ranches. Their “farm to glass” spirits are some of the best and we’re simply obsessed with the taste of the Prickly Pear EquinOx in this cocktail. It has a light citrus and slightly sweet flavour thanks to the prickly pear cactus, which by the way grows wild in Alberta. The Wild Ginger kombucha balances the EquinOx perfectly with its gingery bite. We might be bias, but we think it’ll become your most favourite adult beverage. Traditionally a moscow mule is served in a copper mug however, a short rocks glass would also do the trick.

EquinOX Bucha Mule

Makes 1 drink

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. Eau Claire Distillery Prickly Pear EquinOx

  • juice from 1/2 a fresh lime

  • Wild Tea Kombucha, Wild Ginger

Fill a copper mug with ice and pour in the Prickly Pear EquinOx. You can also use your favourite vodka if you don’t have any EquinOX on hand. Use a citrus reamer to juice the half fresh lime into the copper mug. Top with desired amount of Wild Ginger kombucha and stir to combine the flavours. Garnish with fresh lime wheel, cucumber wheel, and/or fresh basil.
